Daryl Blyth – Drums & Vocals

Daryl Blyth - Drums and Vocals

Started playing drums at the age of 6 years old and was attacking them on a stage by 9.
Daryl was born into a musical family and raised on Rockabilly, Rock N Roll and Country Music.
He has played in a multitude of bands all contrasting in styles from Ska to Jazz, from pop to Blues.
Always perfecting his craft and refining his own style, mixing up multiple eclectic genres. Daryl always comes back to his roots as his heart lays with Rockabilly, Rock n Roll and Country music.

In his time playing drums Daryl has played all over the UK. Been on multiple record labels, had many albums released all over the world and supported many major musical artists. Has been a session drummer for many artists (including Bruce Brand of Billy Childish / The Milkshakes / Thee Headcoats fame).

Daryl Blyth has been a regular feature on the local music scene in bands as diverse as Blag (Ska), Bottom Draw (Indie), The Carnabies (Mod), V8 Rumble (Rockcabilly), Hello Bear (Indie), Ugly Dog Skiffle Combo (Skiffle) and still performs with 8 piece locallegends The Lovin’ Handful.
